In addition to being able to convert to the iModelHub, you can also convert from E3D and Smart 3D to file based models using Plant Exporter. When you run the Plant Exporter, it should automatically connect to a local server and if there is no local server, the site list should be populated with available servers.

• Site - The computer name or TCP/IP address that has a running instance of either "PlantSight E3D Bridge Extractor" or "PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor" servers. You are also able to manually enter a value if the machine you are attempting to use is not available in the drop-down list.
• Port - Refers to the server port. By default, the port number for "PlantSight E3D Bridge Extractor" is 32770, and for "PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor", it is 32767. Ports can be defined with the Admin tool for both PlantSight E3D Bridge Extractor and PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor.
• Server - Displays information about the server, for instance, if the connection was successful. In this example, the Plant Exporter is connected to the "PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor" and the version is displayed. Clicking on the link provides you with information about the currently connected server.
  
• Project - Is the name of the project. A list of projects is received from the server (if there are projects on server side). You can select a project from the list.
  
• File - Lists the exported macro files when using PlantSight E3D Bridge Extractor. When using PlantSight Smart 3D Bridge Extractor, this is labeled as "Filter". You can enter the file/filter name manually or select it from the form by pressing the button on the right.
  

  If the PlantSight E3D Bridge Extractor was configured with the "Connect to PDMS" option for the selected project, you will see the same hierarchy as the PDMS or E3D project. (Please refer to PlantSight E3D Bridge Extractor help for information on creating and configuring projects.)

  
• Export File - Defines the path for the Bentley i-model Drawing file or Mobile i-model file.
